Louise first made medals for the exhibition 'Steeped' in 2003 where a series of medals were made to commerate various people and places.
Louise was invited to become a member of the New Zealand Art Medal group in 2008 and also became a member of the International Art Medal Federation (FIDEM) in 2009.
